Devon Independent Care Providers Association (DICPA) is a group of independent companies providing care services across Devon.

The membership has been formed to provide benefits including:

• Respect for and representation of the views of Devon Care Providers
• Act as a conduit for mutual consultation and exchange of information with all parties, including Devon Social Services and service users
• Provide a forum for the review and development of service standards and issues of costing, quality and monitoring necessary to achieve best value
• Enable a supporting voice with the Regional Care Commission
• Allow development of partnership opportunities around European funding
• Promotion of each member through the dedicated website
• Work with Devon Care Training to provide an independent voice to help shape training provision for the sector

The executive committee is elected by members of the association for a term of one year and all members must be CSCI registered. Members meetings are normally held quarterly, and the executive committee meets every six weeks.
